Today the grandchildren are running a modern delicatessen production. Several times Norwegian Champion in seafood! It’s an award that carries weight in fish nation Norway!
Production takes place in a newly built factory with strict hygiene and quality materials. The fish comes from environmentally friendly fisheries and all material has full traceability. New and strange to grandfather, perhaps, but one thing he had nodded recognition to - the taste of Berggren. It has not changed in three generations.
On Food Exebition in Lillestrøm in 2011, became Berggren dual Norwegian Champion. Gold for fish cakes with herbs and garlic, and fish cakes. Berggren also received two bronze for fish cakes and wolfffish burgers. Product development is a key focus area for us. We believe that new products and tastes are important in attracting new consumers to buy our fish products.
